K9 Team Instructor’s Course

Course Description:
This is a (40) hour course based on industry standard best practices. The K-9 Team Instructor Course was developed to
enhance the knowledge, skills, and abilities of an individual aspiring to become a K-9 team instructor.

Safety Practices
Canine Training theory
Obedience
Aggression building
Building Search
Scent Theory
Legal Considerations
Problem Solving
Students will receive classroom lecture and field work in all areas covered, and will be required to demonstrate a working knowledge
of the material.
*This course requires a high degree of physical interaction. All participants should be in good physical condition and free of injury.
All attendees must be current law enforcement canine handlers.
